An event that could have almost ended in tragedy. This afternoon in Himara, an elderly man was injured while working on his land, after a grenade hidden in the roots of an olive tree exploded.
According to the police report, the incident occurred in the "Livadhë" neighborhood, Himara, on a plot of land (olive grove). Citizen KK, 85 years old, while working on his land, sustained injuries to his leg as a result of the explosion of a hand grenade, which was hidden in the roots of an olive tree.
The Blues report that the elderly man is in the Vlora Regional Hospital, out of danger to his life.
