The Special Court is reviewing the criminal charges of the defendants in the "Metamorphosis" case, including businessman and strategic investor Pëllumb Gjoka. In Monday's session, SPAK requested the summoning of 40 witnesses, who will be questioned about the murder of Gjin Ndojit Boriç in 2020 in Vau i Dejës and the provision of conditions to commit the murder of Kleanthi Musabelli, crimes committed within the framework of a criminal group.
The hearing was accompanied by strong debates between the lawyers of businessman Pëllumb Gjoka and the special prosecutors.
The debate was related to the discrepancy between the schedule of talks on SKY EÇ and the time of Gjin Boriç's murder in August 2020.
"The Sky EC server schedule is not the same as local time," said the special prosecutor.
"Pëllumb Gjoka's minutes have been moved, it is manipulation," declared Guri Brahimllari, the businessman's lawyer.
The court decided to postpone the hearing upon the lawyers' request for time to familiarize themselves with the content of the evidence. Behar Bajri and Edmond Preka are also being tried in the same trial as Gjoka.
