The Tirana Territory Protection Inspectorate has reacted after the SPAK and Police operation, where two inspectors suspected of corruption were arrested and two others were declared wanted.
IMT Tirana writes that it distances itself from the incident and that it has taken measures by dismissing the accused employees from their duties.
"Such behavior is unacceptable and IMT completely distances itself from these individual actions. All necessary administrative measures were immediately taken against the persons involved, dismissing them from their duties," the reaction states.
We recall that according to reports by journalist Klodiana Lala, Gerald Fuçia and Edmond Çela ended up behind bars, while Klajdi Zhilla and another person have been declared wanted by order of SPAK.
These officials are suspected of receiving money from an entity for tents placed in public spaces.
The arrest is reported to have taken place in the Kombinat area, at the premises of former MP Mark Frroku, where security equipment was seized.
