The case of the robbery of the home of the parents of the subordinate of Jonaid Myzyri, head of the Public Procurement Commission, suspended from duty by decision of the Public Procurement Commission under suspicion of tender abuses, is being clarified.
The KPP officer was wiretapped by SPAK in conversations that allegedly implicate Myzyri, and while talking to the mother, she also discovered the robbery in the apartment.
The file states that robbers dressed as police officers not only took millions of lek from Skeja's apartment in Grorëz, Librazhd, but also took her brother hostage, handcuffed him and released him later.
The event was recorded on May 28, 2021.
"The perpetrators of this incident drove in two vehicles, dressed in police uniforms and armed, and are suspected of stealing a large amount of money."
From the statements received from the family members, it results that; at 23:40, six to seven unidentified people, dressed in police uniforms, with guns in their hands, hats on their heads, Covid masks and black gloves in their hands, forcibly entered the first floor of the apartment and told them, "Police, you are criminals." They took their cell phones and then gathered them and took them to a room on the second floor of the apartment, while they physically raped and punched and kicked citizen Gëzim Skeja, where they then handcuffed him and four of the suspects took him to one of their foristrad vehicles.
Then one of them guarded him with an automatic weapon in his hand and asked him if his brothers had brought him any money from England.
One of the suspects was guarding the other family members of the house and the other suspects searched the apartment until they found a considerable amount of lek of various denominations (pounds and euros). Converted into 20,000,000 (twenty million) new lek. After taking the money, they left in their two vehicles, taking with them citizen Gëzim Skeja, whom they told that they would send to the Police Station in Tirana because we have an order to escort you because you are not telling the truth, then they took him out of the vehicle at a place called Labinot, where one of the suspects told him, "The boss told us you are free," the file states.
As it is noted, Gëzim Skeja was released on the Elbasan - Librazhd national road, in a place called Labinot Fushë.
The file in question has been withdrawn by SPAK as part of the ongoing investigations against the senior KPP official and Myzyri. The story is heard in wiretaps with her mother: "I served with my eyes closed... I want it even more. I want it like this... we sign, everyone like sheep. We sign, they pay money".
