Ervis Lami, wanted for extortion against Saimir Sina and the moment he paid the fine, his bar was destroyed with explosives, turns out to be one of the most well-known names in the criminal world in the country.
His cousin, Jeton Lami, former Operational Officer, companion of Ervis Martinaj on the run before he disappeared without a trace, as well as Florin Domi and Flogert Mezhika, were arrested as members of his criminal group.
Ervis Lami, 31, is wanted for the murder of Lulzim Visha, a postman. His criminal group is suspected of organizing the explosive murder of Isuf Jacaj in Saranda. Isuf Jacaj is the father of Klaus Jacaj, who helped Ramazan Jacaj escape after injuring Ernest Lama and Gëzim Hoxhaj, close friends of Ervis Lami, in Saranda in July of this year.
Ervis Lami is also accused of being part of the criminal group that disappeared without a trace Leonard Theodhori and Fatmir Sulovari alias Fatmir Krasniqi.
Ervis Lami helped Admir Tafilaj escape from prison a few years ago.
Lami, 31, is suspected of imposing hefty fines on businessmen in the country.
In Kamza, the TNT explosion at the bar owned by Saimir Sina only caused material damage. The bar had been rented to two brothers-in-law with whom Ervis Lami was in a dispute.
