AMP agent Muçi Shaljani alias Sheqeri, who was injured in the Rinas assassination attempt, has passed away at the Trauma Hospital. He was intubated because he had two bullets in his head, but in the early hours of this morning, doctors declared him dead.
Shaljani was traveling from Tirana to Barcelona and back with Gilmando Dan, Emiljano Shullazi's right-hand man, when they were ambushed by gunmen at noon on November 11. Three gunmen opened fire on them, killing Dan and wounding Shaljani. He did not survive his injuries, adding to the death toll of the assassination.
