Journalist Klodiana Lala has revealed new details regarding the way the serious criminal incident that occurred in the Rinas area is being investigated, where Gilmando Dani, Emiljano Shullazi's right-hand man, was killed and Muçi Shaljani Sheqeri was seriously injured.
According to Lala, the Electricity Distribution Operator (OSHEE) had previously announced a power outage at midnight, which brought a total "blackout" in Nikël, Rinas, Larushk, Halilaj and other surrounding areas.
This situation, according to her, has limited the investigations, as there were very few security cameras in the area, only a few businesses and Rinas Airport itself were operating on generators, while one of the cameras of a private business was seized by the police.
Lala said that the prosecution has launched direct investigations against OSHEE officials to understand the reasons for the power outage at that moment.
"The prosecution is investigating OSHEE officials. Judicial police officers have landed at OSHEE and have taken all the plans on how it was operated and how the overhaul will be done, why at this moment. An investigation is being conducted into the involvement of state officials in this event. I think it is not a story that does not end here. It was a perfect organization, even the state is implicated. Why was the overhaul done at this time, when this was planned," Lala emphasized on News 24.
Another line of investigation is the police activity on the day of the incident, where according to Lala, at the moment of the assassination there was no patrol near the scene for about 40 minutes.
"On the day of the murder, there was no police patrol for 40 minutes. The police were found near a university, which is about 2 km from the scene. The involvement of state segments is being investigated, and how Muçi Shaljani Sheqeri was found accompanying a criminal underworld figure like Gilmando Dani, while his appointment to the AMP was made with fictitious documents," she said.
Lala also recalled that a similar situation occurred in the assassination attempt on Gentian Bejtja in Fushë-Krujë in 2024, where according to her, OSHEE cut off the power for 8–9 hours.

The perpetrators waited in the Toyota car for 7 minutes at the roundabout, reinforcing suspicions that they had trusted informants both in Barcelona and at the airport terminal, who guided them on everything.
The journalist also informed on the show "Kjo Javë" that the assassins' car came from the exact same area where Emiljano Shullazi, (Halil village), imprisoned for a decade, originated, between Zalla and Nikla. Therefore, she believes that the murder of his close friend is with a message.
"Today, the police, in the checks carried out in Krujë and Fushë-Krujë and especially in the village of Zallë, found an arsenal of weapons. Ylli Zalla was declared wanted, with a high social risk profile, also registered for recruiting fighters for Syria. Not a direct connection to the assassination attempt on Gilmando Dani, but with an indirect connection. Muçi Shaljani's condition still remains critical, doctors say he has serious wounds due to bullets in the head, as they could cause hemorrhage if removed," Lala told "News 24".
She further explained the investigative details about the itinerary and dynamics.
She even states that the execution took place with the blessing of powerful criminal groups, where the main motive remains settling scores and taking revenge between rival gangs.
"The perpetrators are believed to have left the area of the village of Zalla before the assassination. The crime was committed with the blessing of criminal groups from the Nikla and Zalla areas. As far as we know this area and its history, it could not have happened without their permission. Moreover, that car came from the area where Emiljano Shullazi originated, the village of Halil, where the car was burned, despite the fact that he was born in Tirana. That is why I said that this is an assassination with a message, since Gilmando Dani was also active in that area," the journalist continued.
So far, it is known that there have been people who were escorted, but who were released after providing an alibi. There have also been checks.
But according to Lala, the perpetrators were well-informed and there may have been a network of several people who tracked Dan.
"The perpetrators' car waited only 7 minutes at the roundabout before the perpetrators got out and shot Gilmando Dan and Muçi Shaljani. The plane was supposed to arrive the day before, but it arrived the next day on November 11. So someone in Spain, in Barcelona, betrayed Dan, because he knew well about the plane's departure from the airport. So he was betrayed and informed from there. The second point is at the airport, because there were several informants, or a network, so where the payment was made at the airport parking lot for the vehicle from Shaljani, or the exit from the terminal. The moment they got out of the payment booth, the perpetrators' vehicle moved, so the perpetrators had detailed information about their movements," said Lala.
