The Tirana Prosecutor's Office is officially investigating the role of OSHEE in the mafia assassination in Rinas where Gilmando Dani, Emiljano Shullazi's right-hand man, and Muci Shaljani alias Sheqeri, an AMP agent, were killed.
The prosecutor in the case has requested all work plans and repair interventions for the Kruja area because the area had been in total darkness the night before. The prosecution suspects that the assassination was highly organized, with state officials, including OSHEE, involved.
The lack of electricity has caused many security cameras to not work, except for businesses that had generators. This has caused the movements of the executioner's car to not be recorded. Earlier in 2024, when Gentjan Bejtja was executed, there was no electricity in the Fushë Krujë area.
The assassination of Rinas took place in the area just outside the airport. The victims had traveled to Barcelona and as soon as they returned, they were shot by 3 assassins. Dani, who was convicted of extortion and criminal group, lost his life on the spot, while Muci Shaljani died 4 days later in the Trauma Hospital.
