A.Skeja, the mother of KPP official Lindita Skeja, the latter accused of tender abuses, has recounted shocking details of the robbery of her house in 2021.
"I was at home with my son Gëzim, his wife and his three children aged 14, 10 and 8. At around 23:30 the door was forced open while we were watching TV and four people entered, dressed in police uniforms, lace-up shoes, long trousers, jackets with police prints, and holding automatic firearms. These people were wearing masks like those for COVID-19 and black-brimmed hats.
These people were in their 30s, while another was about 50, and the other two were 40-45 years old. We were all on the first floor and after they entered they pointed their guns at us, one of them put the gun to my head and took the phone that was on the table, and he took all the other children's phones. They tied the boy up with a pair of handcuffs and spoke only a little in the dialect of central Albania. One of them asked for the keys to the rooms on the second floor of the house. One of them with an automatic rifle kept us all on the first floor, they put the tied boy in a car outside where there were three other people, all of them with guns ready to shoot, all of them were wearing black gloves. Three of them entered the second floor and searched the house, one of them told us that the government had sent us here, that your sons had been arrested in England and that we were going to search the house. "Then they put all of us up except the boy and kept us locked up on the second floor and then left after taking the boy with them," she said.
The woman explains that one of the cars was a black SUV and a black van like a police van.
The car had no inscription, they were holding police radios in their hands and calling each other boss, after they left we stayed inside for 20-30 minutes and then carefully opened the door and saw that they had left.
"I know that the boy was thrown from the car on the road in Labinot, Elbasan," the woman concludes.
