The European Union Rule of Law Mission in Albania has reacted following the tragic incident in which the judge of the Court of Appeal, Astrit Kalaja, was killed and two other citizens were injured.
In their statement, EUDEL expresses its deep shock at this grave act and strongly condemns the criminal event that shocked public opinion. The EU Delegation expresses its condolences to the family of Judge Kalaja and calls for urgent measures to increase security in courtrooms.
