The Tirana Court signs 3 security measures regarding the death of 3-year-old Brian Spahiu after a dental procedure at the clinic of doctor Roland Xhaxho.
The security measure "prison arrest" has been imposed on the anesthesiologist and resuscitator Xhaxho, his daughter Ina Xhaxho, and dentist Marta Gina.
The prosecution had requested the detention of the three suspects in prison. Sources indicate that they are charged with manslaughter and fraud. Several other doctors are also under investigation.
Brian Spahiu, 3, died in hospital a few days after undergoing dental surgery at Xhaxho's clinic. The charges against the doctor, his daughter and the dentist come after the expert report arrived from Italy.
