Following a years-long investigation by West Midlands Police and the Regional Organised Crime Unit, seven people have been found guilty and sentenced to a total of nearly 40 years in prison.
The investigations began in May 2022 and uncovered a criminal structure that cultivated and distributed narcotics on a large scale throughout Britain.
The convicts are:
Erikson Kararaj, 34, from Birmingham – 8 years in prison
Arben Sinjari, 48, from Birmingham – 7 years in prison
Islam Toro, 31, from Tipton – 5 years and 8 months in prison
