Sources from the Durrës Police indicate that former mayor Vangjush Dako is hospitalized in Durrës hospital, after he developed health problems today. For this reason, the execution of the decision of the Special Court of Appeal (GJKKO), which decided to return him to prison, has not yet been completed. The decision was taken today and foresees that Dako will serve another 10 days of his remaining sentence.
Sources indicate that immediately after the decision was made, Dako ended up in the hospital, after he showed health problems and suffered arrhythmia. After receiving medical assistance, Durrës Police forces arrived at the hospital premises, which executed the Appeals decision by handcuffing the former mayor.
After completing medical procedures, Vangjush Dako is expected to be handed over to the General Directorate of Prisons to continue the execution of the court decision.
