Around 150 employees and oil workers of Bankers Petroleum have stopped work this Thursday, in protest of current working conditions.
This action comes after a protest held the day before, where 10 members of the Hydrocarbons Union decided to go on a hunger strike.
As a result of this boycott, around 400 oil wells have been left unattended, raising concerns about the safety and normal functioning of the company's activities.
Oil workers are demanding wage increases and improved working conditions, stating that for a decade, Bankers Petroleum has taken no steps to improve their situation.
