After five days without drinking water, the defect in the main water supply pipeline in the city of Vlora was repaired during the early hours of the morning. According to official sources, the works to fix the pipe were completed around 04:00, at which point the supply of the city's main storage tanks also began.
Currently, some areas of Vlora are being supplied with water, while in the rest of the city the supply is expected to be gradually restored over the next few hours. Authorities indicate that the supply is not yet being carried out at full capacity, as the newly installed equipment is in the testing phase.
Water utility experts are closely monitoring the repaired pipeline, gradually increasing the pressure and amount of water injected into the system, in order to ensure safe and stable operation.
With the full filling of the storage tanks and the completion of technical testing, it is expected that the water supply for the citizens of Vlora will be fully restored to normal in the coming hours.
