As the debate over construction and urban development continues to stir controversy in Albania, the government has chosen one of the largest international stages to present its projects. At the global real estate fair MIPIM 2026 in Cannes, the Territorial Development Agency (TDA) and the National Territorial Planning Agency (NTPA) have presented dozens of development projects in Albania.
According to the official announcement, around 100 projects were presented in the Albanian pavilion, from residential complexes to tourist resorts, curated by international architecture studios and oriented towards foreign investors.
The Director of AZHT, Adelajda Roka, stated that the Albanian pavilion was among the most visited at the fair, while the main goal is to promote Albania as a new destination for investments in the construction and real estate sectors.
MIPIM is considered one of the most important global events for the real estate industry, attended by major developers, banks, investment funds and construction companies from all over the world. This year the fair has gathered over 20 thousand professionals, while Albanian representatives have held meetings for cooperation opportunities and investments in new projects in the country.
