Gazment Bardhi announced that the DP will organize another protest on the day when the Parliament reviews the mandate or immunity of MP Belinda Balluku.
During a press conference where he presented the report on the immunity of the former deputy prime minister, the head of the DP parliamentary group declared that citizens will be called to gather in front of the Assembly headquarters on the day when the request for authorization will be reviewed.
He warned that, if the Assembly rejects SPAK's request, the opposition will consider the institution a "bunker" where, according to him, corrupt officials are protected.
Bardhi emphasizes that according to constitutional standards, the Assembly does not have the competence to assess the concrete security measure or the investigative need, as this is the exclusive competence of the judiciary.
