The DP Parliamentary Group has requested the establishment of an investigative commission to control the legality of the functioning of the National Information Society Agency (AKSHI), as well as to assess cybersecurity and personal data protection.
The head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, said after the meeting that the committee intends to analyze in detail the functioning of the AKSHI, including the risks related to national security.
He emphasized that it is an obligation that also stems from Albania's membership in NATO.
Bardhi called on the majority not to obstruct the establishment of the investigative commission, describing this as a constitutional right of the opposition.
