The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, declared that the former director of the National Agency for the Information Society, Mirlinda Karçanaj, was only an executor of the orders of the Prime Minister's wife, Linda Rama. At the meeting of the DP parliamentary group, Berisha said that in fact the National Agency for the Information Society is de facto led by "Linda of Surrel", Ergys Agasi, and Edi Rama's henchman, Frangu.
According to him, the Prime Minister's defense of Karçanaj is related to family interests and is part of an effort to close the scandal.
"Mirlinda of AKSHI was simply an enforcer, because AKSHI was de facto led by Linda of Surrel, Ergys Agasi and Edi Rama's butler, Frangu. So it turns out that even this protection that Edi Rama is giving to Mirlinda of AKSHI is for strictly family interests. And we are dealing with another attempt to bury an issue that, in its overall financial, legal and mafia dimensions, surpasses any other affair in this country. However, so far the file is a pickle. Ergys Agasi is free. The digital citizen says that it also goes to Surrel", declared Berisha.
The opposition leader focused particularly on the figure of Ergys Agas, who has been declared wanted, claiming that he continues to be free.
But what is striking is that during all the months that the AKSHI scandal has been at the center of public debate, Berisha has almost never mentioned the name of Ermal Beqiri. Even though, according to the investigation file, he faces charges similar to those against Ergys Agas.
This silence has raised questions: is it simply a coincidence or a careful selection in the way political denunciations are articulated?
