The protest in front of the Ministry of Education in Tirana was accompanied by tensions and physical clashes, after some Democratic Party supporters attempted to remove a citizen who had come out in support of the students from the rally.
The situation became tense when the citizen opposed the removal, and there were shoving and physical clashes between him and some protesters.
Amid the tensions, the citizen declared that he does not represent any political force and that his participation in the protest was only related to support for young people.
"I am a family of the persecuted. I support the youth, I am not against them. I will not leave. I understand them. I have not received a single lek. I am not part of any party. I voted for the DP, but I am not with any party. Rama and Berisha in prison," he said.
Despite his statements, some of the protesters continued to ask him to leave the rally, causing moments of tension in front of the Ministry of Education.
The incident was recorded during the national student protest, which was also joined by Democratic Party supporters, after their march from the Prime Minister's Office to the Ministry of Education.
