Prime Minister Edi Rama appears to have been concerned by the clashes within the Socialist Party during the last meeting of the expanded parliamentary group.
In the meeting he held with the socialist assembly of Unit 7 in the capital, Rama focused precisely on these clashes, which he did not deny. On the contrary, he appeared concerned about the fact that the media covered his debates with Spiropali and other issues discussed at the meeting.
"It was spectacular, unbelievable even for me, that I believe there is nothing that surprises me anymore, that we gather in an extended meeting of the parliamentary group with the government, which we do every end of the month, to discuss specific topics, to listen to the government and the MPs and vice versa, we dedicate entire hours to the issue of properties, the cadastre service, the progress of the cadastre reform, etc.," said Rama.
The Prime Minister continued by indicating what, according to him, the media should report, underlining that more important to the public is the increase in oil prices than the clashes in the Socialist Party.
"They report to the public what Edi Rama said to one and what he said to another. Of course, that's not the concern. People voted and want to know other things. They are worried about the price of oil, this is real life. The price that increases as a result of a war," he said.
However, the Prime Minister should know that the novelty of events constitutes main news. In this sense, the fact that the government's lukewarm measures fail to reduce the price of oil in Albania is no longer news. While the opposite happens when, after so many years, clashes begin within a party that has functioned as a structure run by the orders of a boss and his obedient subordinates. Especially when this clash occurs between "Skënderbeg" and "Mamicë".
