The Democratic Party has reacted to its absence today from the constitution of the Territorial Reform Commission. According to the DP, the meeting was unilaterally decided by representatives of the majority and that the DP deputies were not present because they were in another Commission, where the 2026 budget was being discussed.
"The Committee meeting was unilaterally decided by the majority representatives. Meanwhile, the opposition MPs were engaged in the parliamentary committees discussing the budget for 2026," the DP's reaction states.
The establishment of the Territorial Reform Commission was done with the votes of the majority and opposition allies, Edmond Haxhinasto of the Freedom Party and Vangjel Dule of the PBDNJ.
