At the height of the anger of the DP deputies yesterday in the plenary session, few people noticed that a conversation between Sali Berisha and Agron Gjekmarkaj has changed the dynamics and brought about the "calming" of the democratic legislators. Their rebellion was softened with the justification that the resolution on Kosovo would be approved, but the truth is a little different. VNA sources indicate that a message has arrived on the phone of the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly guaranteeing that the Mandates Council on the immunity of Belinda Balluku will meet next week. This repeated request of the opposition, but which has remained unanswered so far, seems to have also softened the DP deputies, who left the hall a little angry, with the words of Agron Gjekmarkaj. The exact day when the Mandates Council will meet is not known, but it is clear that the SP is no longer in the position it was a few days ago, when it strongly opposed the meeting of this council. It is now expected to be seen what will happen in the Mandates Council, while the Balluku issue will move to a new dimension, the parliamentary one, where it is expected to be seen what position the majority led by Edi Rama will take.
