The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has once again attacked former DP MP Ervin Salianji, calling him a successor to Lulzim Basha. In a conversation he held with citizens on Facebook, Berisha called the latter misused by Edi Rama, labeling them as a kind of "Dash Sule" dressed as a democrat.
"I think the Democrats united, but again, based on the contribution they have, I do not deny it to anyone. This is not about Basha and his successor Salianji. There can be no talk about these people, because these are unfortunate people, people who have been abused to an extreme degree by Edi Rama. You could say, they are children of darkness. You saw what Dash Sula did, these are a kind of Dash Sule dressed as a democrat. They have nothing in common with the DP, neither one nor the other," said Berisha.
It seems clear that the leader of the DP has the clash within the party on the same agenda as the battle to overthrow Edi Rama, for whom he has announced the next national protest on February 20.
However, it seems that he has not yet managed to convince the citizens who join him in the protest to stay on the Boulevard until the government is overthrown. He said that the idea of not leaving the square is the right one, but according to him, it is up to the citizens.
"We will not stop the uprising without overthrowing the narco-state. Your idea of not leaving the square is absolutely the right idea. The very moment that the citizens decide, that will also be the final phase of our daily life," he said.
Berisha also warned of expanding forms of protest, including organizing events at airports, ports and main roads in the country.
