Six months after the "Rama 4" cabinet was voted into office by the Assembly, Prime Minister Edi Rama undertook a wave of government changes. However, several ministers managed to escape the reshuffle and remain in office.
Here are the names that continue their mandate without being affected by the changes:
• Petrit Malaj – Minister of Finance
• Delina Ibrahimaj – Minister of Economy and Innovation
• Mirela Kumbaro – Minister of Education, Sports and Youth
• Evis Sala – Minister of Health and Social Protection
• Blendi Gonxhe – Minister of Culture and Sports
• Andis Salla – Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development
• Adea Pirdeni – Minister of State for Public Administration and Anti-Corruption
• Ervin Demo – Minister of State for Local Government
• Majlinda Dhuka – Minister of State and Chief Negotiator with the EU
The cabinet changes came at a time when the majority faces political and institutional pressure, while key sectors such as energy, defense, and diplomacy underwent reform.
