The independent candidate, supported by the opposition for the Municipality of Tirana, Florian Binaj, joined Adriatik Lapaj's protest in the square in front of the Prime Minister's Office this evening. Binaj was expected to be the Democrats' chosen candidate for the early elections in Tirana, but after their annulment by a decision of the Constitutional Court, he has not hidden his ambition to be the Democratic Party's candidate in the regular elections for the Municipality of Tirana, which are expected to be held in the spring of 2027.
