The Socialist Party Parliamentary Group has asked the Assembly to take disciplinary measures against 29 opposition MPs, following incidents that occurred in today's plenary session.
In the request addressed to the Speaker of the Parliament, Niko Peleshi, it is stated that the plenary session was accompanied by acts of violence, including the throwing of pyrotechnics and hard objects into the hall, attacks on the Speaker of the Parliament, members of the Council of Ministers and employees of the Republic Guard, as well as the blocking of the rostrum and the normal development of parliamentary proceedings.
The SP Parliamentary Group emphasizes that, based on the video footage and the evidence administered, these actions constitute serious violations of the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly and the Code of Conduct of the Deputy.
