In a period when citizens await the decision of the Constitutional Court on the date of the next elections in the Municipality of Tirana, the current administration has intensified its activities. In the last three days, the Municipality of Tirana has announced three tenders for the construction and asphalting of roads on the outskirts of the capital, with a total value of around 5 million euros.
The first procedure, announced on October 21, concerns the "Construction of the Mustafakoc-Veski-Kocaj Ring Road", which connects five villages in the Baldushk Administrative Unit, with a limit fund of 1.5 million euros.

The other two tenders, announced today, include the “Construction of the Verri-Urë road” in the Shëngjergj Administrative Unit worth 1.8 million euros, and the “Construction of the Pezë e Madhe-Pojan road” in the Pezë Administrative Unit worth 1.6 million euros.

The Municipality of Tirana requires that the works for the three roads be completed within 8 months from the conclusion of the contract, which means around June 2026. However, if the Constitutional Court decides that Veliaj's dismissal is fair and paves the way for partial elections in the capital, these contracts could be interpreted as "electoral asphalt."
A practice that the municipality has followed during Erion Veliaj's previous campaigns, when road restoration was carried out during election periods. A practice that seems to be used to bring votes to Ogerta Manastirliu.
