The dynamics of how Tirana Police discovered the arsenal of weapons hidden inside a van with the inscription "road maintenance" are revealed.
The van had been parked for days near the former exhibition and residents had complained. In the meantime, many fines had been placed on the van's windshield. At one point, the police decided to take it by car and take it to the traffic police checkpoint.
Because no one was interested in the van, the police conducted checks and discovered that it was registered in the name of Eugert Sinos.
The investigators also decided to open it and found that the door of the van opened with a special control panel. The interior was divided into two parts and in the end part, the investigators discovered an arsenal of weapons, 23 of them, 5 of which were snipers, pistols, etc., and uniforms with the inscription police were also found.
Police arrested Sinon, who was located in a house in the 21st December area as a suspect in the arsenal of weapons. He stated that he does not remember who the person who put the van in his name is, but that he had no knowledge of the weapons. Police suspect that the weapons were brought from Kosovo and belong to a criminal group operating in Tirana, Lac e Burrel.
