At 1:30 PM, a hearing will be held at the Korça Court to determine the security measure for the 8 people involved in the murder of 14-year-old Erald Xhejo in the village of Pirg.
The alleged perpetrator Enedio Guri, his father Edison Guri, his uncle Roland Guri, Flori Çela and 4 minors will appear before the court to give their explanations regarding the serious crime and the events that followed. The 14-year-old is charged with intentional murder to the detriment of a peer, while the others are suspected of failing to report a crime and actions that hinder the disclosure of the truth. The investigations show that a few days before the incident, the suspected perpetrator went by car to the village of Zvirinë and slashed the tires in front of the victim's uncle's bar. On the day of the incident, the victim and a friend went to the village of Pirg to see a barber.
At one point, they saw the perpetrator driving by and whistled at him to get him to stop and explain.
They met and started arguing.
At the moment he pulled out the knife, the victim grabbed a chair from the bar's yard to defend himself. At one point, he tripped and fell, and at that moment the perpetrator stabbed him to death. After the crime, his father helped him hide, while his uncle hid the knife used in the crime.
