A 25-year-old Albanian man and a 31-year-old Latvian woman have been arrested by British authorities on suspicion of being involved in a murder that occurred on Augustine Road.
According to British media reports, the arrested Albanian has been identified as Shahim Bulica, while the co-suspect is Erika Korska. Both were detained by Kent Police shortly after a violent incident that occurred outside a flat in the area.
Police said that at approximately [time not reported], a call was received regarding a physical altercation on Augustine Road. At the scene, officers found a man in his 30s with serious stab wounds. The victim was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately died a few hours later from his injuries.
Both suspects have been formally charged with murder and are currently in custody. They are expected to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court next week, where their first court hearing will take place.
Police have not yet made public the motives for the conflict, nor the possible relationship between the victim and the suspects, while investigations are ongoing to uncover the full circumstances of the event that has shocked the local community.
