SPAK ordered searches at the premises of businessman Ermal Beqiri's "Soft & Solution" company. BKH investigators seized documents and mainly tender practices, as well as equipment such as laptops, which are thought to be needed for the investigation. Asked about the searches at this company, SPAK head Altin Dumani refused to comment during a meeting with journalists, arguing that the investigation is secret.
"Soft & Solution" is one of the main companies that has concluded and won tenders in the information technology sector. It is precisely these contracts, according to investigators, that are the subject of the investigation, which amount to millions of euros.
The checks were ordered as part of the ongoing investigation into Ergys Agas, where it appears that investigators are not limited to the cigarette factory in Librazhd, but also to Agas's influence and connections to AKSHI.
In this context, Agas's assets and the people, mainly businessmen, who are suspected of having collaborated with him are being investigated.
Ermal Beqiri is known for his strong ties to Agas. He is also a well-known name in the media, because he was one of the experts who conducted the expert examination of the video known as “Meta-Prifti”. The examination concluded that the video was doctored, which later led the Supreme Court to declare Ilir Meta innocent. Since then, Beqiri has entered the business world and his company declares millions of euros in the field of technology and has won tenders from AKSHIT and other institutions.
