The Special Structure Against Corruption and Organized Crime has decided to return to its owner the "Land Rover Defender" vehicle, which was used on August 12, 2025 in the kidnapping of businessman Gerond Meçe, owner of the "ABS" company.
The vehicle with the license plate "AC 121 JJ" has been returned to Endrit Merkaj, after according to SPAK, the vehicle was inspected and did not result in any data of interest for the investigation.
In this case, SPAK accuses Ergys Agas and Ermal Beqiri of having ordered the kidnapping of Meçe in order to withdraw him from AKSHI tenders. Both businessmen are currently wanted.
Meanwhile, Mirlinda Karçanaj, former director of AKSHI, and her former deputy, Hava Delibashi, are under house arrest.
