After three hours of searching, the Himara Fire Service has located and rescued a couple of Israeli tourists, aged 22, who had lost contact earlier in the day.
The tourists were found in the Gjipes area and are currently being escorted by fire fighters to a safe location. According to reports, they are in good health and did not require medical intervention. The rescue operation lasted three hours and took place in difficult conditions, as the terrain where the tourists were found was steep.
