Elton Kila, known as Ot Kila, testified in the Special Court in the criminal trial against the defendants in the "Golden Bullet" case. The investigations show that Kila was targeted for assassination by Nuredin Dumani on the day he was assassinated and later became a fugitive from justice. According to SPAK, the order for the assassination of Ot Kila was given by Suel Çela, but the assassination attempt against him was not carried out after Nuredin Dumani himself fell into an organized ambush.
What did you do before you started your business?
In 2017 and 2018 they destroyed my business. I have a business of
25 years, for the sale and purchase of vehicles, import-export of vehicles, vehicle showroom. The business is located in Elbasan. I started it in 2003, then I expanded it and went to 4 businesses. Attempts to destroy my business have not been solved.
I was an immigrant. I always had documents and imported cars. I worked in several countries, like France, Germany and Switzerland.
In 2006, I opened a gym in Elbasan, a travel agency since 1997, and in 2010 I had a bar in the center of Elbasan.
The 2017 incident was just an attempt. I was at home. I also had a guard. I was notified that a fire had broken out outside the service station. The firefighters extinguished the fire, but 3 vehicles were damaged.
In 2018, there was another arson attack. At the time, I was being held by the police in Albania after Italian authorities suspected me of car insurance fraud. It was an incident from 2009. On the third day of my detention, they set fire to my business, burning 10 vehicles and 10 motorbikes.
While I was detained, I learned about the incident on TV. I was isolated for 45 days.
I went to the police and the prosecutor's office, where I gave statements about who I had problems with.
Even today, I don't know where I got these events from.
The son of the guard Arben Ramallari, then I heard the name of Elio Bitri and two others. I did not meet him nor did I deal with him, but I distanced myself from him and started to observe him myself but I did not find anything. I was unsure and did not go to meet Elio Bitri. I did not ask for more, I said "I have left you to your fate".
Regarding the injury of Nuredin Dumani
The day Nuredin Dumani was injured and arrested, I was abroad with my family. I had fled to Germany at 7 am that day and returned to Albania a week later. Later I learned that he had set out to assassinate me. I don't remember who told me this, but I believed him because he had something to do with me. I heard it from many people, but a policeman also told me. I heard Nuredin Dumani's name that day, I didn't know him before. If I had heard the others, because they had been in Elbasan, I knew him. I have no connection with any of them. My family asked me to leave, but I refused because I didn't want to leave a stain on the house. I didn't hide, I didn't hide.

When my name was mentioned, the newspapers wrote, Suel Çela paid for me, I asked to meet at the grocery store. I met his father, Titin. My brother came later.
"Really," he (Petriti) told me, "you're worried about this." I was half-calm, because I didn't believe it could be true. I haven't met Suel Çela since Nuredin Dumani's arrest.
