The Special Court communicated the measure of arrest and imprisonment to Rezart Kuçi, a police officer, and Flodian Plaku, known as Pole Qorri, accused of being part of Inez Hajrulla's group, which ordered murder and carried out drug trafficking.
In total, 8 arrest warrants were signed for suspects as part of the group, but only 2 of them were arrested in Tirana, while one in Switzerland, former officer Hamëz Demushi, while the others, including Inez Hajrulla and Ervis Matodashaj, are on the run.
SPAK's investigations uncovered the murder of Gentian Qarri, which was ordered by Hajrulla, and the plan to commit the murder of Bledar Bircaj. Several episodes of cocaine trafficking were also uncovered.
Rezart Kuçi, a police officer on duty, was decorated some time ago for achievements in duty, at a time when he was part of the criminal group and acting on behalf of Inez Hajrulla.
