The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime (SCAC) has announced the decision in the criminal case related to the recently uncovered “Call Center” fraud scheme. According to the official announcement, Judge Iliriana Olldashi decided to uphold the first instance decision for the suspects KK and H.Xh, maintaining the personal security measure “prison arrest” against them.
Meanwhile, the court also approved the decision for the suspects EM, E.Gj, R.Gj and DQ regarding the assessment of the legality of the arrest in flagrante delicto carried out on January 17, 2026.
For the latter four, the Court of Appeal changed the security measure from “prison arrest” to “house arrest,” ordering them not to leave the declared residence. The court also ordered their immediate release from detention, unless they are being held for any other legal reason.
