Hygiene in the emergency room of Korça Hospital continues to be in an alarming state. VNA had previously reported on the markedly unclean conditions, but the complaint has remained unanswered and no measures have been taken yet.
Recent photos from the emergency room show signs of uncleanliness, including blood stains on the chairs where patients sit and vomit on the hospital walls, left by previous patients. These conditions pose a serious risk for the spread of infections.
Patients who go for medical treatments face the concern of the possibility of further infections, increasing the risk of health complications.
