
The Criminal Court of Kosovo has found guilty and sentenced two people, accused of criminal offenses in the field of narcotics and organized crime.
This concerns citizens Gëzim Bakalli (alias Shkembim Cërmanji) and Erjon Loci, from whom around 1,400 kg of drugs, 10,000 ecstasy tablets, weapons, bank cards, etc. were seized.
According to the court's decision, Gëzim Bakalli pleaded guilty to the criminal offenses of "Drug Trafficking", committed within a structured criminal group and more than once, "Structured Criminal Group" in the form of leadership, as well as to several acts of document forgery.
The decision states that after combining the sentences and applying a reduction due to the summary trial, he was ultimately sentenced to 12 years and 8 months in prison.
Meanwhile, Erjon Loci was found guilty of "Production and sale of narcotics", committed within the framework of a structured criminal group, as well as for the criminal offense of "Structured criminal group" in the form of participation. The court imposed a final sentence of 8 years in prison on him.
Both men will serve their sentences in a high-security prison.
