A 39-year-old man wanted by authorities in Tirana and Fier for stalking and breaching security measures is being extradited from Dubai to Albania.
Following the cooperation of the Interpol Directorate with the Interpol Abu Dhabi office, with the objective of capturing and extraditing internationally wanted citizens who intend to hide from Albanian justice while staying in Dubai, citizen KA, 39 years old, born in Lushnja, was located and captured, within the framework of the "The Wanted" operation.
This citizen was wanted internationally because in 2024, the Tirana Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense of "Stalking", as he is accused of having physically and on social networks persecuted citizen RR and his family for several years.
Also, the 39-year-old was sentenced by the Fier Court, in 2024, to 9 months in prison, for the criminal offense of "Removing a prisoner from his place of residence".
