The Tirana Court set the security measure of "prison arrest" for Imer Krrashi, who while trying to escape from the police caused an accident by crashing into 9 cars.
In the courtroom, he expressed remorse and said he was willing to compensate for the damages caused.
"I regret the incident. I was in a state of panic and anxiety, my mother suffers from cancer, while my father passed away a short time ago, a loss that I have experienced badly. I take medication for anxiety and depression. I was in a serious condition. I undertake to compensate for the consequences of my actions, to pay damages to people who were injured or whose vehicles were damaged," said Krrashi.
Imer Krrashi alias Imer Masha from Kruja, is suspected of being part of the Marklen Haka group. He disobeyed a police order to stop, as he had a weapon with him. While leaving, he crashed several vehicles and a motorcycle, the driver and passenger of the latter were injured, who turned out to be an off-duty police officer and his wife.
The police were able to arrest him in the Dry Lake area of Tirana.
Krrashi is a well-known name in the justice system after being convicted in Italy for theft as part of Edison Pula's group. Edison Pula and Imer Krrashi were arrested in February 2022 on suspicion of theft in Trentino. One of the events that caused a lot of fuss is the one on November 4, 2021, in Morocco, inside the villa of businessman Giancarlo Miotto.
