The Director General of the United Kingdom's National Crime Agency (NCA), Graeme Biggar, hosted in London this week the head of the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, Altin Dumani, as well as the new director of the National Bureau of Investigation, Joni Keta.
During the meeting, Mr. Biggar granted a special appreciation of gratitude to Mr. Dumani, appreciating his leadership as well as the courage and integrity shown in the fight against organized crime and the unstoppable efforts to guarantee justice.
The visit and assessment come within the framework of strengthened cooperation between law enforcement institutions of Albania and the United Kingdom, with a focus on the fight against criminal networks and international trafficking. The British authorities have stressed their readiness to continue supporting SPAK and BKH in this joint mission.
