The scandal surrounding the Head of the Dibër Prosecution Office, Abaz Muça, deepens. After clashing with prosecutor Urim Kalia over an investigative matter and the initiation of criminal proceedings against him, Abaz Muça has dismissed the two secretaries of the prosecution office.
Edvin Shehu and Artan Balla were suddenly dismissed after failing to inform Abaz Muça that criminal proceedings had been initiated against him.
The clash and arguments between the Director and these two employees began the day that Prosecutor Urim Kalia initiated criminal proceedings against him and continued for several days afterward.
Director Abaz Muça, through his actions, prevented Secretary Edvin Shehu from photocopying the material of the criminal proceedings against him, subsequently forcing Prosecutor Urim Kalia to go to the Director's office to forcibly take the material that was being photocopied. A routine procedure and a banal quarrel between two high-ranking state officials in Dibër clearly show the face of the justice institutions in Albania as soon as you move a little away from the center.
The entire scene was recorded by cameras installed in the premises of this Prosecutor's Office, which will serve as evidence to prove the new consumption of the criminal offense of "abuse of office", for revenge against the 2 secretaries.
Institutions such as the KLP and ILD have been informed about this latest clash, while the Kukes prosecutor's office has the criminal file against the chief prosecutor of Dibra in its hands. Both the KLP and ILD have not yet made any reaction to the matter, while the only reactions are those received from the media. It is incomprehensible how the two institutions responsible for the administration of justice remain silent, while the situation in Dibra could escalate even further.
