The Saranda Court set the security measure of "prison arrest" for Alban Muço, who deceived citizens and promised them employment in justice institutions, while presenting himself as a senior official of the Special Prosecution Office.
He is charged with "fraud and embezzlement of title." Investigations have revealed that Alban Muço has deceived several young people in Saranda, promising them employment in justice institutions with a hefty salary of up to 2,800 euros, as well as a daily allowance and other expenses.
His lawyer, Armand Çaushi, requested a lighter security measure, claiming that his client does not pose a risk of fleeing or committing other criminal offenses. He said that Muço was living a delusional phase, believing that he was a prosecutor.
Despite the defense's claims, the court decided to leave him behind bars.
