The vetting process and background check for the 7 candidates running for the position of head of the National Bureau of Investigation has been completed. The results have been sent to the selection committee, composed of Altin Dumani, head of SPAK, as well as prosecutors Arben Kraja and Behar Dibra.
There are 7 candidates in the race for the position of director of the BKH: Andi Pogaçe, Artur Beu, Elton Kërluku, Gentian Ndoi, Gentjan Shehaj, Gledis Nano and Joni Keta. The Commission will review the final results of the Special Vetting Commission and will then draft the official ranking of the candidates.
After this process, the trio of prosecutors will send a name to the High Prosecutorial Council for approval as the new head of the National Bureau of Investigation.
