A 15-year-old boy was stabbed during a conflict over weak motives, and the 14-year-old, the suspected perpetrator, was arrested and put in handcuffs.
The cutting tool used by the 14-year-old to inflict the injury has been seized.
The services of the Durrës Police Commissariat, immediately after receiving notification of a conflict that occurred on 25.11.2025, in neighborhood no. 14/1, on "Lugina e Karavastasë" street, organized the work to clarify the incident, identify and capture the suspected perpetrator.
From the first investigative actions carried out by specialists of the Serious Crimes Investigation Sector at the Durrës DVP, in cooperation with specialists for Crime Investigation at the Durrës Police Commissariat, it resulted that during a conflict for weak motives, the minor citizen MK, 14 years old, resident of Durrës, is suspected of having struck the citizen EB, 15 years old, with a cutting tool (knife), causing him serious injuries. The injured person is currently in the Durrës Regional Hospital, under the care of doctors.
After identifying the perpetrator, the Police services searched the area and various premises, where after a few hours they were able to locate and capture and arrest in flagrante delicto the citizen MK, 14 years old, for the criminal offenses of "Intentional serious injury" and "Unlicensed production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons".
The procedural materials were referred to the Durrës Prosecutor's Office for further action.
