
New details have been revealed about the assassination attempt that took place today in Lushnja against 45-year-old Juljan Sulo, known by the nickname "Juli of Pashakos", who was wounded in the leg as a result of gunshots.
The incident occurred at around 10:40 on Lushnja Boulevard, near the hospital roundabout, a very populated area of the city. The 45-year-old was driving alone in his BMW when he was shot with an automatic weapon by another car, a Nissan Qashqai with Greek license plates, at an intersection.
After the attack, the perpetrators fled to a rural area and burned the vehicle in the village of Lifaj. They then moved on to another vehicle that was waiting for them nearby.
Meanwhile, Sulo, wounded in the leg, was escorted by the police to provide clarification regarding the incident. The Lushnja Police and the Fier Police Directorate have set up checkpoints and seized video footage from the cameras of businesses around the scene. Many automatic rifle cartridges were also found and seized at the scene.
The investigative team has also questioned witnesses who were near the scene of the incident to gather as much information as possible about this assassination.
