These are the images of the house in the village of Orosh in Fushë Arrëzim where Hamzah Uka and Julian Cumraku were holed up for 12 hours and threatened RENEA with weapons. As can be seen in the images, they were living in poverty and without basic living conditions.
According to the police, the apartment is owned by Erzen Uka's grandfather, otherwise known as Hamza Uka. The latter, along with Cumraku, are suspected of being radical followers of the Islamic faith. Both were arrested on suspicion of terrorist acts and an ISIS flag was found in the house, along with weapons.
Uka was previously a commando in Iraq and Afghanistan. He has previously been convicted of inciting religious hatred.
