Socialist Party MP Tërmet Peçi left SPAK today after a stay of about an hour, without giving any comment on the reason for the call or why he was walking with difficulty. His only reaction was a brief greeting of "goodbye Ristan".
His reaction is related to a criminal complaint filed with SPAK by Arben Ristani in April 2025, which accuses the deputy and director of the Tepelena municipality, Lorenc Bami, of setting up a genuine corruption scheme. According to the complaint, Bami has created through his wife the company “NG STRUCTURES”, which has won tenders in Tepelena and Gjirokastra with a value of up to 66 million euros, especially in reconstruction projects.
The report also mentions the company "IUMENTIS shpk", which obtained public land and a permit for the regional slaughterhouse, then transferred the money to the municipality director's company.
The file also states that in 2019, Bami created the company "Artreum Generation", through which he received other subcontracts, including a water supply tender in Memaliaj. According to the complaint, Peçi also favored his sister, donating thousands of square meters of public land for an agrotourism in the village of Rexhin, financed with about 1 million euros from IPARD funds administered by Frida Krifca.
SPAK has not yet provided details on the purpose of the call and the ongoing investigations.
