In January 2020, the conditional release from Fushë Krujë prison of life-sentenced Indrit Dokle, the leader of one of the factions of the Durrës Gang, caused a stir.

The decision bearing her signature was appealed to the Court of Appeal by the Prosecution, but since January six years ago, the file has been forgotten in the drawers of the second instance of the judiciary.

The political and media noise faded over time, and the court has not made the slightest effort to review the case.
For a long time, the file was in the hands of judge Fuat Vjerdha, who, on the grounds that he has a large file load, did not set a date to review the case. A few weeks ago, the file was re-arranged, after Vjerdha retired and his materials were distributed to other judges. The draw has designated the judge of the Appeal of General Jurisdiction Albert Meçe to judge the case. The latter has not yet issued a date, as he is judging files from 2017. Endrit Dokle, a friend of businessman Klodian Saliu, is known as one of Lulzim Berisha's strongest opponents. Indrit Dokle is accused of having, in collaboration with the defendant Durim Bami, the latter in the role of creator, organizer and leader of a structured criminal group, as well as with other unidentified persons during January 2021, provided conditions and material means to commit the murder of citizen Arben Ndoka. While in collaboration with Bami and Marklen Haka (alias Marklen Aliu), as well as with other unidentified persons during February 2021, he is accused of having provided conditions and material means to commit the murder of citizens, Tori Xhecuka (alias Hektor Xhecuka) and Erigers Mihasi.
